Narayanpatna is among the most active Red zones in Odisha where the police and security forces have been at war with the Maoists for the last several years. And that has meant a complete breakdown of governance in this predominantly tribal area on the Andhra-Odisha border. There are no power and no schools and government officials posted in these areas refuse to stay here out of fear. NDTV visited a remote tribal village here to see how the ongoing war has crippled primary education.
