The National People's Party (NPP) has ruled out any pre-poll alliance with the BJP for the upcoming assembly elections in Meghalaya. Party chief and Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma made it clear that the NPP will go solo in the polls slated to be held in the first half of 2023. "No alliance even with partner BJP. The decision has nothing to do with the developments in Bihar," he said.
