In the past five days, at least a dozen people have been killed and over 30 injured in firings between the hill and valley region even as intermittent firing continues. Meanwhile, the Manipur government evacuated the last remaining 10 Kuki families living in the heart of Imphal in a swift post-midnight operation on Saturday, from the New Lambulane locality the past four months, there have been several attacks in this area.
