A less-known group like the Abhinav Bharat has suddenly shot to prominence after its alleged role in the Malegaon blast and its the same story with countless other small Hindu and Muslim extremist groups that lie low. Untill the Malegaon blasts, Abhinav Bharat just seemed like one of countless splinter groups - the extreme fringe of Hindutva thought.
