BJP candidate Dr CN Manjunath, a renowned cardiologist and former director of Jaydeva Hospital in Bengaluru who filed his nomination from the Bengaluru Rural seat yesterday, will be taking on sitting Congress MP DK Suresh, the younger brother of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. DK Suresh had won the seat twice in 2014 and 2019, Pratibha Raman reports.
