While Tamil Nadu has rejected the three-language formula under the New Education Policy, the Tamil Language Development Minister K Pandiarajan alleges that the centre's three-language policy explicitly imposes Hindi and Sanskrit though the union government claims otherwise. Chief Minister EPS has said the state will never implement this and will only continue with its two language policy.
