Karzai calls PM, condoles loss of lives

Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Monday night called Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and conveyed his condolence on the tragic loss of lives in the suicide bomb attack on the Indian embassy in Kabul. In the telephonic conversation, the prime minister told Karzai that India lost some of its precious officers in the attack. Singh said this would not deter India from continuing its reconstruction and rehabilitation work in Afghanistan
