Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has criticised the centre for not giving enough funds to the state government for the last five years. This comment comes after his brother-MP DK Suresh sparked a controversy with his allegation the centre had not allocated anything for the south, and that southern states should become a separate country. Congress ministers and MLAs from Karnataka are set to head to Delhi to stage a protest on February 7.
