Jaswant Singh Was Saddened By Babri Masjid Demolition: Author Sudheendra Kulkarni Condoles Death

Author Sudheendra Kulkarni extended his condolences on former Union Minister Jaswant Singh's death and said he was deeply saddened. Calling Mr Singh "a tall leader, a scholar and a soldier", Mr Kulkarni said he was one of the most trusted colleagues of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and LK Advani. He also said Jaswant Singh was instrumental in forming the NDA where he assisted AB Vajpayee and Mr Advani. Sudheendra Kulkarni also said Jaswant Singh was deeply saddened by the demolition of the Babri Masjid after which he initiated dialogue with Muslim leaders. "A different personality when BJP was a different kind of party," Mr Kulkarni added.
