The Army in Kashmir has foiled a major infiltration bid - the largest in the last three years. Eleven militants and a JCO were killed in the operation that lasted for five days. The group from the Leppa valley in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) was caught at an altitude of 14,000 feet. With the army heavily deployed on the Line of Control, such attempts are being foiled often.
