Illegal cattle trade along Indo-Bangla border

Dotted along the Indo-Bangladesh border are several cattle corridors through which smuggling has been going on for years. Dhubri in Lower Assam is one of the most active routes for this trade today. The transportation of the animals begins at night and they are kept during daytime in temporary cowsheds and this transportation continues all through the night.
