Resident doctors and nurses of Delhi's civic body-run Hindu Rao hospital have withdrawn from duties over non-payment of salaries for last four months. The doctors have been protesting over the issue for last several weeks. Hindu Rao has been a Covid dedicated hospital since June and 23 patients were admitted there until yesterday. But the Delhi government shifted them to other government hospitals as the doctors had announced that they would go on strike from today. The hospital is run by North Delhi Municipal Corporation which has been blaming the Delhi government for lack of funds and in turn the govt has been blaming MCD.
