Heat Wave Across India Ahead Of Peak Summer Months

India's peak summer months of May and June are still ahead, but many parts of the country especially in the north are already facing extreme temperatures. The IMD or weather department has given out warnings of heatwaves beginning with 3-4 areas today to across most of the country in the next 5 days. There are major consequences of this - from immediate health effects to power cuts to a power crisis, and even low crop yields. Alok Pandey and Manish Kumar report.
