More than 5,000 people have been evacuated from the region surrounding the Jakhau Port - one of the biggest ports in the country - where Cyclone Biparjoy is expected to make landfall. The port, which has been shut for 5-6 days, will stay closed at least till the weekend. A big worry for the authorities is whether the port's infrastructure will survive the storm.
