Grappling with the cold in Jaipur

The bone-chilling cold wave has brought misery to thousands of homeless people in north India. In the desert state of Rajasthan, temperatures have plummeted by 4 to 6 degrees, but despite two dozen night shelters, coming up in Jaipur, many of the poor families live out in the open, due to lack of facilities and harrassment fears.
