Amid speculation of a hung assembly, Rashtriya Janata Dal spokesperson Mayank Sinha said he was sure the alliance with Congress and Left parties, Mahagathbandhan or the Grand Alliance, would surge past the majority park of 122 in the 243-seat House. In fact, he added that the party would win at least 130 to 135 seats. He also dismissed talks that it was a mistake to give 70 seats to Congress, which trailed in early counting. "People of Bihar are with us," Mr Sinha told NDTV.
