The government has decided to open the Srinagar-Muzzaffarbad and Poonch-Rawalakote road links on the LoC for trade next month. The move is considered as an important confidence building measure. And for farmers of border towns like RS Pura, who are expecting a bumper basmati harvest this year, this is a good news. They hope that by opening of these routes, their basmati rice could reach markets in Pakistan.
