NEET aspirants Mayank and Ishita, almost the same age as the two boys who died by suicide in the Kota coaching hub, open up about their experience of facing the challenge of intense competition during their exam preparation. They say the gap between the number of seats and aspirants is alarmingly large and that is one of the key reasons why students are forced to take such extreme steps. "We want the government to introduce two attempts a year for NEET aspirants," they say, talking about their own journey as aspiring doctors.
