Election Campaigning Not Allowed In This Gujarat Village
At a time when Gujarat is witnessing a high-decibel election campaign, a village in Rajkot district lies silent ahead of next month's assembly polls. Raj Samadhiyala villagers feel election campaigning would adversely affect the region and have imposed a ban on such activities. However, voting is compulsory for all villagers, who have decided on a Rs 51 penalty for anyone found not voting.
