The Delhi government today launched a new anti-pollution campaign called "Red Light On, Gaadi Off" under which motorists will be encouraged to switch off vehicles while waiting for the lights to turn green at traffic signals. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha, along with several AAP workers, stood at a traffic light in east Delhi's Rajendra Nagar today to start off the campaign. Asked whether things will change for Delhi residents, Mr Chadha said that pollution is a problem in north India and that the bigger picture will change only when Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana also take strict measures, and not just the Delhi government.
