Japan has recently recorded a surge in its COVID-19 case load. The fatality rate has also seen a spike. Some 420 deaths were reported on Thursday. Flights between China and Japan have been allowed only from four airports in Japan and Covid tests will be mandatory for visitors to the island nation.
