A city court pulled up Delhi Police for what they called a failure to conduct a proper investigation into the 2020 Delhi riots. While acquitting 3 accused, the court said that the agency merely tried to pull wool over the court's eyes and that the case was a colossal waste of taxpayers' money. "The failure of the Delhi Police to conduct a proper investigation will surely torment the sentinels of democracy," it said.
