The pollution crisis in north India and concerns about climate change have revealed that often, the very young can be wiser about protecting our surroundings than many adults. Maya Sharma spoke to young students in Bengaluru's Cubbon Park as they expressed their opposition to the possibility of a new seven-storey building in this lung space of Bengaluru city. No trees will be cut for this new building, an annexe to the High Court. But it will increase traffic and involve the demolition of what many feel is a heritage building.
