The Greater Chennai Corporation has launched a vaccination drive at the Koyambedu vegetable market targeting at least 20,000 people, mostly shopkeepers. Last year, the market had turned into a super-spreader, infecting more than 6,000 people. NDTV talks to senior officials who are overseeing the drive and want to inoculate as many people as possible before the market re-opens.
