In Gujarat, 92-year-old Heeraben, mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among others who posed with the new currency notes after patiently waiting in bank queues. In Chennai, DMK's MK Stalin visited a bank to exchange his old currency and spoke to people who are dealing with the inconvenience in hope of greater good. As queues outside banks and ATMs seem to not reduce a week after the ban on 500 and 1,000 rupee notes, PM has asked his countrymen to give him 50 days to return normalcy after his black money clean-up move.
