Big Congress Rally In Karnataka Despite Weekend Curfew

Karnataka has reported over 8,000 covid cases but despite spiraling cases and a weekned lockdown, the Karnatak Congress remains defaint and is holding a massive rally in the state. The padytra (footmarch), which is expected to see 5,000 participants, is being led by KPCC president DK Shivakumar and Leader of the opposition Siddaramaiah. The march has been launched from Mekedatu in Ramnagar district and will continue for the next nine days and will culminate in Bengaluru. This, while the state is under weekend curfew. The government has also warned of action under disaster management act.
