Bengaluru Civic Body Identifies Illegal Encroachments That Led To Flooding

The demolition drive by the Bengaluru civic body, BBMP, resumed this morning. Chief Engineers who have been tasked with clearing encroachments have identified homes, schools that have encroached on storm water drains - one of the primary reasons that left Bengaluru underwater when heavy rains battered the city last week. The civic body has so far identified nearly 700 encroachments on storm water drains.
