Battle Over Uttarakhand Moves to Parliament, Rajya Sabha adjourned

The government and the opposition sparred with each other over Uttarakhand as Parliament opened today for the second part of the Budget session. As Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma of the Congress insisted on a discussion on President's Rule in the state first, Union minister Arun Jaitley said the matter will be discussed only when its turn comes. Amid uproar, the upper House was adjourned till noon.
