Bangladesh election results will be out on Monday. The country voted in its 12th general election on Sunday amid a boycott and strike by the main opposition party. Voter turnout in Bangladesh was at 40%. Largely it was a peaceful day of polling, with sporadic incidents of violence. Sheikh Hasina of the Awami League has been the Prime Minister of Bangladesh since 2008 and is poised to win a fourth straight term as the main opposition party - the Bangladesh Nationalist Party - boycotted the elections.
