As the police and intelligence agencies try to piece together the motive behind the blast in Bangalore yesterday, sources say a timer or detonator used to trigger off the bomb has been completely gutted in the fire caused by the blast. The explosion happened at around 10.30 am near the BJP's office in Bangalore's Malleshwaram area on Wednesday. 16 people, including 11 policemen and two teenaged girls were injured.
