Asteroid debris to light sky
The earth will pass through clouds of dust left behind by the asteroid 3200 Phaethon and spectacular meteorite showers can be witnessed tonight. These showers will be caused by the debris of an asteroid and not a meteor or a comet, as is usual, and they will be crystal clear because the moon is a mere crescent and the night will be dark.
