At the Bardang Military Camp along NH 10, several military vehicles are trapped under the debris and sludge left behind by the floodwaters of the Teesta River after the flash floods. The Army is working to rescue trapped personnel, several of whom are missing. The camp has suffered extensive damage, with military vehicles trapped in the debris. The Sikkim government on Thursday warned about the presence of explosives and ammunition along the banks of the Teesta, after an ammunition depot of the Army in the northern part of the state was hit by flash floods a day earlier.
