In Mumbai, the government and administration are working hard to improve the deteriorating air quality on the other hand, there is a possibility of further increase in air pollution due to firecrackers. Governments are promoting eco-friendliness but some dangerous chemical elements including barium have been found in these firecrackers which are extremely harmful for human health. The founder of Awaaz Foundation has written a letter to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and appealed to immediately remove these firecrackers from the market.
