With eye on 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Union Home minster Amit Shah and BJP's national president JP Nadda attended meeting with the core committee of the party's Bengal unit. BJP won 18 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections which was one of the best performances of the party in Bengal till now, party insiders say this time the target is to win 35 seats of the total 42. Trinamool had won 22 seats.
