Human Rights activists are planning to move the Supreme Court challenging the acquittal of Chinnasamy, the man who was awarded the death sentence by a lower court for allegedly masterminding the murder of Sankar, the scheduled caste man his daughter Kausalya had married. On Monday, the Madras High court also commuted the death sentence of five others to a 25-year term in jail in the Udumalpet dishonour killing case. NDTV spoke to Henri Tiphagne, Executive Director, People's Watch.
