4 Railways Officials Suspended After UP Train Accident

Four railway officials have been suspended following the train accident that left over 22 dead and injured over 200. Thirteen coaches of the Puri-Haridwar Utkal Express went off the tracks around 5:45 pm in Khatauli in Muzaffarnagar district; two crashed into a residential area, ramming a house and a college. The action are seen as part of Railway's effort to fix responsibility over the accident. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, who has promised a probe, had also asked the officials to fix responsibility by "end of the day".
