A bid to disrupt peace in Bengal was foiled weeks ahead of Lok Sabha polls 2024. The bomb squad defused 3 crude bombs from Siliguri with a controlled explosion. Based on information from locals, the fire brigade and bomb squad team rushed to the spot to carry out the operation.
