Two women - a research scholar and wife of a professor - allegedly committed suicide at the Indian Institute of Technology's Madras campus on Wednesday. According to the police, body of 34-year-old P Maheswari - a post-doctoral research scholar - was found hanging in her hostel room. Investigation is underway to find out the reason of her death.
