The Director of AIIMS, Dr Randeep Guleria, warns that the festive season could see a further rise in cases in India. Dr. Guleria maintains that not only the rise in cases but even reinfections are expected to be a cause of concerns in coming months. India's surge, he says, is not a second wave, but fluctuations in the first wave but advises against crowding or attending large gatherings.
