This week, a cartoonist and other media personnel have received notices from Twitter informing them that the social networking site has received a legal request from the law enforcement agencies to take action against their accounts. The cartoonist had been creating political cartoons highlighting the grim reality of what Indians had to undergo in the devastating second wave of the pandemic and in the process criticising the Centre's handling of the Covid outbreak.
