Raj Bhavans are meant to be neutral but today two Governors and a Lieutenant Governor appointed by the BJP-led centre were being accused of politicising a constitutional post. In Puducherry, a clash between Lt Governor Kiran Bedi and Chief Minister V Narayanasamy escalated today over three appointments in the government. Not only the Bengal Governor and Chief Minister have clashed over the handling of the communal violence near Kolkata, but the Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy, a former BJP leader from Bengal, weighed in on that clash.
