US Secretary of State Antony Blinken began his China visit today. This comes at a time when the two countries are stuck in a trade war and hours after US President Joe Biden pledged $8 billion in military aid to Taiwan. Blinken is scheduled to meet with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi and is also likely to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping.
