Biden's Move Escalates US's Trade War With China

In a move seen as a big escalation of US's trade war with the red dragon, President Biden has banned key high-tech investments in China including sectors like semiconductors, microelectronics and AI that are crucial for India's economic cooperation with the US. Biden, in a letter to Congress, sai  he was declaring a national emergency to deal with the threat of advancement by countries like China "in sensitive technologies and products critical to the military, intelligence, surveillance or cyber-enabled capabilities."
