Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said that his support for the centre's demonetisation move shouldn't be interpreted as a sign that he was close to allying once again with the BJP. "I support demonetisation because I believe it is a good step. A political meaning should not be drawn from it," he said today at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to scrap old 500 and 1,000-rupee notes which has been challenged by most of the opposition.
