Talking about the nine-year journey of Banega Swasth India, Ravi Bhatnagar, Director, External Affairs & Partnerships, SOA, Reckitt, said that this health movement's success lies in the shift towards hygiene practices. Mr Bhatnagar said, positive behaviour change is a key indicator of the campaign's effectiveness. Emphasising the need for equity and an inclusive approach to health and hygiene, he said, India's tribal population needs support for hygiene and healthcare and it is important to give last-mile access to healthcare services. Talking about the other initiatives that are part of this overarching campaign, he highlighted the creation of Climate Resilience Schools, as something that goes beyond hygiene to work towards, one health - where the health of the planet and ecosystem is as important as individual health.
