Nepal Floods: Galchi Power Substation Buried In Mud, Equipment Destroyed
NDTV reports from Galchi, south of Kathmandu, where a massive deluge devastated a power substation. Floodwaters destroyed homes and a bridge, while rising mud buried heavy transformers and torrents of water damaged equipment inside the facility. The engineer managed to escape into the mountains as the floods swept through the area.
