NEET Paper Leak | Students Prepare For Exam Amid ‘Re-NEET’ Fears And Leak Concerns

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has scheduled the NEET 2026 examination for May 21, as students across the country begin preparations amid growing uncertainty and anxiety over a possible “re-NEET” scenario. NEET aspirants speaking to NDTV expressed apprehension about the upcoming exam, with many saying they fear the paper could be tougher this time. Students also raised concerns over alleged paper leak threats, claiming that certain online groups are already active and attempting to circulate exam content. Along with demanding stricter action against those accused in previous leak cases, students questioned NTA’s ability to ensure a fair examination process. Many also highlighted the pressure of balancing preparation for multiple entrance exams, including CUET alongside NEET, and the challenges of long study hours. The situation has reignited debate over exam security, fairness, and the future of high-stakes competitive testing in India.
