NEET News | Parliamentary Panel Meets Under Congress MP Digvijay Singh's Chairmanship, Debates NEET

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth and Sports met in EPHA under the chairmanship of Congress MP Digvijaya Singh. The committee convened to adopt its 381st Report on the government's action taken on the 364th Report regarding the Demands for Grants (2025–26) of the Department of Higher Education. A key agenda item was the debate on pen-and-paper examinations versus Computer-Based Tests (CBTs). The panel also deliberated on concerns and reforms related to NEET and the National Testing Agency (NTA). Senior officials from the Ministries of Education and Health, representatives of the NTA, and members of the medical community were scheduled to present their views before the committee.
