Naveen Patnaik Demands CEC Gyanesh Kumar’s Resignation
BJD president and Odisha Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik has demanded the immediate resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and called for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls to be thoroughly revisited. His remarks came amid reports of differences within the Election Commission over aspects of the electoral-roll revision process.
