Nashik ‘Godman’ Arrested In Sexual Exploitation Case, Former Staffer Turned Whistleblower
A self-styled godman from Nashik, identified as Ashok Kharat, has been arrested for allegedly luring and sexually exploiting multiple women under the pretext of solving personal and marital issues. The case came to light after a former staff member installed a hidden camera in his office, capturing footage that allegedly showed women being drugged and assaulted. Police say over 100 such videos have been recovered, indicating the scale of the abuse. A 35-year-old woman has also filed a complaint, alleging repeated assault since 2022.
